GitHub Copilot plugins GA with enterprise controls

GitHub has announced that repository plugin defaults and enterprise-managed plugin controls are now generally available in VS Code, the Copilot CLI, and the GitHub Copilot app. Repository maintainers can define default plugins to streamline contributor setup, while enterprise administrators gain the ability to require or block specific plugins through managed settings. These controls take precedence over individual user choices, ensuring compliance with organizational security policies. The feature is available to users with Copilot Business or Enterprise licenses.
