Archon: Open-source AI Coding Harness Builder Launch

Cole Medin has launched Archon, the first open-source harness builder designed for AI coding. In a live stream, he demonstrated how to set up and run workflows using both the command line interface and web UI, as well as how to create custom YAML workflows. Archon includes advanced features such as loops, approval gates, and per-node model selection, allowing users to encode AI coding workflows in a repeatable and version-controlled manner. This tool represents a significant step in harness engineering, evolving beyond traditional prompt and context engineering.
